Europe is one of the five inhabited traditional continents of the Earth. Physically and geologically, Europe is the westernmost peninsula of Eurasia, west of Asia. Europe is bounded to the north by the Arctic Ocean, to the west by the Atlantic Ocean, to the south by the Mediterranean Sea, and to the southeast by the waterways adjoining the Mediterranean to and including the Black Sea and the Caucasus Mountains. On the east, Europe is divided from Asia by the water divide of the Ural Mountains and by the Caspian Sea.
 
Kouvaras is one of the exclusive tourist destinations located in Europe. Also called as Kouvara, it is a community of the Greek prefecture of Attica and is located at about 2 kilometers to the east direction of the Glyka Nera-Sounio highway, linking Glyka Nera and Sounio. The city is blessed with quantity of culture related notion and marvelous surroundings. Owing to this unique natural setting, the population of the city is growing with a constant pace. Presently, the total population of the city is 1,704 inhabitants.
 
The mountains dominate the southern and the northern parts of the Kouvara municipality and consist of rocks and grasslands. Forests lie in the eastern portion while the rest of the area is made up of farmlands. Agriculture and a few businesses are the most popular industries in Kouvaras. However, the shift to urban lifestyle is not common as other parts of Athens.

The picturesque scenery, the majesty of the mountains, the slow pace of life, and the welcoming nature of its people all combine to make this region one of the most important touristic attractions in Europe.
