Europe is one of the five inhabited traditional continents of the Earth. Physically and geologically, Europe is the westernmost peninsula of Eurasia, west of Asia. Europe is bounded to the north by the Arctic Ocean, to the west by the Atlantic Ocean, to the south by the Mediterranean Sea, and to the southeast by the waterways adjoining the Mediterranean to and including the Black Sea and the Caucasus Mountains. On the east, Europe is divided from Asia by the water divide of the Ural Mountains and by the Caspian Sea.
Ktimenia is one of the exclusive tourist destinations located in Europe. It is a municipality in Evrytania suburb of Greece. The picturesque scenery, the majesty of nature, the slow pace of life, and the welcoming nature of its people all combine to make this region one of the most important touristic attractions in Evrytania.
Evrytania is one of the prefectures of Greece. It is within the periphery of Central Greece. The prefecture was created in 1947 out of the Aitolia-Acarnania prefecture. The prefecture is almost entirely covered with mountains including the Tymfistos and the Panaitoliko in the south and rivers including the Acheloos in the west, Agrafioti in the east and Megdova in the east flowing down to the Ionian Sea, and has a skiing resort.

Recent investments attracted by the climate, soil, and altitude combination have transformed the Evrytania area, making it one of Argolis most important regions. Even though Evrytania meant the partial loss of its tourist profile due to urbanization, some features of its past times of splendor still remain, with hotels and hostelries that are swarmed by thousands of visitors each year.
