Opdorp is one of the three towns making up the municipality of Buggenhout in east Flanders, Belgium. Opdorp is at the geographical centre of Flanders, Belgium. It is also the point at which three provinces meet include Brabant, Antwerp, and East Flanders. Buggenhout is a municipality in the Belgian province of East Flanders. The municipality comprises the towns of Buggenhout proper, Briel, Opdorp, and Opstal.
Buggenhout had a total population of 13,840. The total area is 25.25 square kilometres, which gives a population density of 548 inhabitants per square kilometre. The Kingdom of Belgium is a country in northwest Europe bordered by the Netherlands, Germany, Luxembourg and France and is one of the founding and core members of the European Union. Belgium has a population of over ten million people, in an area of around 30,000 square kilometers.
