Korythio is a municipality in Arcadia, Greece. Its population in the year 2001 was 2,613. The seat of the municipality is in Steno. Arcadia is a region of Greece in the Peloponnesus. It takes its name from the mythological character Arcas. Arcadia was home of the temples of Zeus and Hera, and was also the location of the Olympic Stadium, where the Olympic Games were held in Classical times. Greece is a country in south-eastern Europe, situated on the southern end of the Balkan Peninsula.
