Tetovo




Europe is one of the five inhabited traditional continents of the Earth. Physically and geologically, Europe is the westernmost peninsula of Eurasia, west of Asia. Tetovo is a city in the north-west Macedonia, built on the foothills of the Sar Mountain that is Shar Mountain and divided by the Pena River. The city covers an area of 1,080 square kilometer at 468 meters above sea level and with a population of approximately 80,654.
 
In discovered history of Tetovo was officially founded in the 14th century as a small medieval Orthodox settlement around the Sveta Bogorodica church. Tetovo grew with the building and construction of houses around the Orthodox Church. Turkish influence deeply impacted Tetovo and it was renamed Kalkandelen to reinforce the new Islamic presence.

Tetovo is also known as the town of best geographical environment and has traced its origins back to prehistoric times. Today, one can also learn about its history, from its earliest times and can also enjoy its natural beauty concealed by the beautiful landscapes.
