Tjorn is a Swedish municipality that covers the island of Tjorn, in the province Bohuslan in western Sweden administratively Vastra Gotaland County. Tjorn is the sixth largest Swedish island. It is located on the Swedish West coast, in the province of Bohuslan. The municipality and island covers an area of 167.3 square kilometers, has a total population of 15,022 and a population density of 89 inhabitants per square kilometers. Its seat is located in Skarhamn.
