Naousa, Imathia
Europe is one of the five inhabited traditional continents of the Earth. Physically and geologically, Europe is the westernmost peninsula of Eurasia, west of Asia. Naousa is a city in northern Greece. Its population in the year 2001 was 22,288. The urban area sits off the road linking Veria and Skydra. The farmlands lie to the west, the forested and grovy area in the western part and the Vermio Mountains to the west. Peaches, and other fruits and crops are very famous in the low lying areas of the province. Naousa is agriculturally famous for its jam products which are sold under the Naoussa brand name. The flavors are peach and strawberry. In Slavic it is called ????? Negush. Naoussa has a small Roma population. Naousa has schools, lyceums, gymnasia, banks, a train station, a sports centre, a post office and squares. Greece officially the Hellenic Republic is a country in south-eastern Europe, situated on the southern end of the Balkan peninsula. It is bordered by Bulgaria, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and Albania to the north and by Turkey to the east.
